I love Raising Canes and I hadn't been to one in a very long time. I DO know the last time I was there, a Caniac combo was about $12 maybe $13 but I just recently went through the drive-thru aaaand they told me I owed them $18 for a Caniac combo. $18!!!
I drove right by both windows and got out of there. I felt a little embarrassed because I know the other cars were like "damn, she didn't get any food" but hey, there is just no way im paying that kind of money when I can make my own, yup, im officially an old person! The "We have Canes at home" person! 🤣 I know, I know... "Well why did you go in the first place?" Well, when you work 8-9 hours a day on your feet the last thing you want to do is cook a whole meal when you get home but now days, it seems to be the smartest thing to do. I headed to the grocery store that day after my drive-thru fiasco and this is what I threw in my basket;
Tenderloins (12 pack for $7) *same brand in the header photo*
Crinkled cut fries ($4)
Flour ($3)
*Wash off a couple tenders - I washed 4 tenders for my meal
*Pat dry
*Season to the God's!
Pepper/Garlic blend
Onion powder
Salt
Dash of Cayenne Pepper (super optional!! I like spice!)
Paprika
Parsley
Flour: Pour a little into your batch.
You can find all of these seasonings at any grocery store!
* Message it all in together! (I use gloves, you can use your hand without a glove if you'd like)
*Grab your favorite spray oil! Spray your chicken to moisten the flour you've just massaged your chicken with.
(I love the garlic infused extra virgin olive oil spray)
*Place chicken in your airfryer. I own the Instant Pot and airfryer dual machine. Work accordingly with whatever style airfryer you own.
*Most people will probably say put your airfryer on 350 degrees but I literally keep mine on 400 degrees 24/7🤣.... so do whatever makes you feel comfortable!
*Close your lid
*Set time to 12 to 15 minutes (I like my chicken a little crispy so I do about 15 minutes.)
While your doing that you can add a little oil to a frying pan and fry your crinkle cut fries for a few minutes! I actually own two airfryers so I use my second one to make my fries. They cook perfectly in the airfryer for about 10-12 minutes! (Again, if you love crispy fries! 8-10 minutes if they are already thawed and you like them less crispy)
*Grab your favorite dipping sauce. (Again, totally optional!)
This time I used a creamy ranch and a BBQ sauce!
Throw it all on a plate!
Enjoy!!
It's super quick, super easy and super GOOD!
If you try it out, let me know! If you've done this before, let me know!! Any suggestions or advice for me to add to my recipe, LET ME KNOW!!
This is how mine turned out! It was delicious!

Sincerely,
Connie
